We managed to get tickets to the Patty Pitt Collaboration. They sold very quickly, so keep your eyes out if you want to get a ticket to the next one!
Podcast episode is below, photos are next. In summary, if you can get a ticket to these events, do so! Great food, nice drinks and good value at £55
I particularly enjoyed the Scrumpet and the Potato Cake. The burger was REALLY good, especially since it was out of my usual comfort zone of a cheeseburger! Loved the Milkshake as well – it seemed quite small on arrival, but was exactly the right size given the amount of food we’d already had.
Service was great, and everyone was really helpful to my non-alcohol needs.
The Venue on Kingly StreetThe Menu – Excuse the bordello vibe, that’s fixed later!I didn’t get a shot of the Pickle Backs, but these Cider Sours had a good review. I don’t drink so spread mine out to the othersThe Sharing Platter – this is food for 4Patty Pitt very kindly found me a non-alcoholic beer. Please click below for the Stoke House Victoria Review Podcast. Recommended – the food was good and I like the carvery layout. The hot sides were good, but the cold sides were only ok.
Sunday was brunch day and a bunch of us went to Roka Aldwych for a slap up feed. Normal price is £59 + service (13.5%) but got the Timeout deal (last one here) so paid £42 + service. Well worth it at full price, with the Timeout voucher, it becomes a must-visit.
Everything was very good, but the highlights were the tempura (make sure you try the sauces!), the sushi rolls and the gyoza.
Remembered to take pictures of everything bar the beef main course this time!
