The best restaurant I went to in March – the great Game Bird at the Stafford Hotel.
Photos are below.
Beautifully presented, the scallops tasted as good as they looked!
This is the sole it its natural state – ready for filleting!
Normally, I’m one for fish on the bone, but there’s no way I could have done it this well!
This looked and tasted so good – saly marsh lamb is such a unique flavour
I felt a bit guilty at not having the titular dish, but I got to try it, and it was awesome!
The Cote de Boeuf was beautfull cooked and came to the table ready sliced
The others polished off the Cote de Boeuf, I snagged the bone for the best bit of meat!
The fillet steak weas cooked medium rare, and was incredibly tender
One of the best desserts I’ve had for a long time – the base was so crisp and the apples still had structure, but we wonderfully tender
Pistachio Souffle looked good, and tasted better. At least so I was told…
The Ice Cream disappearing into the top of the souffle
I didn’t get to try this either…
Pear & Blackberry Trifle – I didn’t get any of this 🙁
