On Tuesday 7th March, I went to the Soft Launch of the new Hawksmoor in Borough.

The menu – but the real stuff is on the board!
I didn’t take pictures of the rest of the starters, but the potted beef called to me!
The gravy at Hawksmoor is a revelation, really deep flavour
This one was polished off by a friend of mine!
This was shared, along with a fillet steak with a friend of mine
So soft & juicy – the fillet steak just melted. Between the two of us, we managed to eat both this and a T Bone!
The chips were a bit underdone, but the fries were superb
In the podcast I forgot to mention that we had mashed potato and mac and cheese too!
I love sticky toffee pudding and this is the best I’ve ever had
I got to try the sticky toffee sundae, and it was very very good.
Just when we couldn’t get any fuller, we had to have doughnuts…
